Something to do before bed
This is a nice way to keep anyone interested up to date on me, I suppose.

Survey
-Do you like your name? Why or why not? Yes. I have met one other person who spells it with a "y". And I don't know what else I would call me.

-Four reasons why u are technically “un-cool”: I go to bed early (before 11:00 pm), I have only gotten drunk once, I write fan fiction, I don't attend a school

-School policy that you hate with a passion: Dress codes. They got/are getting waaay out of hand.

-Weirdest snack that you love: One time me and Allen had Ritz crackers topped with bacon and cheddar Easy Cheese garnished with a chocolate star. They were actually quite good. Zaphod drooled in approval.

-Worst habit: "Is that person mad at me? Do they like me? Do I look stupid? etc. etc."

-Two reasons why you are a bad person (only 2!): I take things way too personally, I get excited about something then second guess myself later.

-If you could go to any concert (be the band no longer touring or whatever) who would you see (warp tour does NOT count): Why doesn't warp tour count? Information Society, hands down.

-Person you would like to meet: Suhaila Salimpour

-Foreign country you’d like to visit and why: All of them. Some to volunteer in, others to nap in the sun, others to take in the mountains and tundra, and of course others to see what a real sand dune desert looks like. I want to take a camel through one for several days. That would be a nigh religious experience I think.

-Show you love to watch but don’t like to admit it: Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd(?) Century, Rugrats, Made.

-Talent you wish you had: Wish I could play my violin worth a darn.

-One reason why you are entirely too superficial: Sometimes I dress up real nice when going to a nice restaurant for lunch so the rich people won't turn their noses up at me.

-Would you consider yourself pessimistic, optimistic, or a realist: A realist who strives for optimism and has a bit too much pessimism.

-Is your favorite quote funny, sad, or thought provoking? I have too many favorite quotes. Mostly they're the kind that make you go: "Huh. Well ain't that somethin'" or "Haw haw haw!"

-What is that quote? "If you've never seen an elephant ski then you've never been on acid!"

-Favorite Musical, and have you seen it (specify movie/Broadway): Cats and Phantom. Oh, I know you are sneering at me all you ALW haters. Stuff it. They are good shows. And I call them my favorite because they've been with me for so long I can't help but like them. I *am* going to have the role of Christine one day. I hope. Maybe. You know, if the production doesn't close. And if I actually learn to sing. Hm. Better get started on that...

-City in the USA that you wan to visit: New York City

-Do you speed when you drive? If so do you mean to or just don’t really care: Sometimes to pass people, othertimes to get tailgaters off my butt (but only 2-3 miles over, screw them, they aren't worth getting pulled over for) and sometimes when I'm not paying attention.

-What movie/show did you watch over and over as a kid? Anything Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Oh. Hell. Yes.

-Is you closet a mess, total disaster, strangely clean, or we don’t even want to know: Strangely clean. Strangely.

-Most embarrassing article of clothing that you own: Embarassing for me or for you?

-What do you order when you go to McDonald’s? Often a double cheeseburger with no pickles. Sometimes I'll just get fries. Don't go to McDonald's hardly at all anymore.

-If you were forced to watch reality TV for a day what show would you watch? Joe Schmo! Especially season 2! That was the funniest stuff I'd seen in a looong time.

-Camping; like or no: Love it, don't do enough of it.

-3 things you like about the city you live in: Eclectic, outdoorsy, and beer.

-3 things you dislike about the city you live in:
1)Social classes are extremely obvious (as in, you're either dirt poor, just scraping by, or obscenely rich, and you either live in a craptacular apartment, give an arm and a leg for rent, or own an enormous mansion on the mountainside that you live in only 3 months out of the year because your real home mansion is in some other state),
2)It's insanely difficult to find a job!
3) Billionaires want to build country clubs in the middle of the wilderness so they can "enjoy the great outdoors." Everyone check out the proposed "Village at Wolf Creek." I've only lived here for a little over a year, but I'm pissed about this.

-How often do you check your live journal? Try to at least once a day.

-Physical thing about the opposite sex that appeals to you: Heh. Heheheheheh. PG version: Their eyes and smiles seem to catch my attention.

-Physical feature about yourself that you like: Lips.

-Physical feature about yourself that you dislike: Stretch marks.

-What should you REALLY be doing right now? The dishes.

-Do you have a dirty mind? Do you really need to ask?

-What is your msn screen name right now? Dont have MSN anymore. Last time I did I think it was bunbun.

-Are you listening to anything right now? I've got "Leiley" by Dania (the Transglobal Underground Remix) stuck in my head.

-Sum yourself up in 3 words: Dreamy, hopeful, need-a-haircut.

-How often do you change your sheets? When I can't remember when I changed them last, its time to wash them.

-After this, what are you going to do? Probably write a little more fan-fiction. Don't laugh, you know you'll want to read it.

-Language you would like to know: Arabic so I know what the heck I'm dancing to in class.

-In the last twenty-four hours have you cried? No.

-Last movie that made you cry: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe got me teary.

-In the last twenty-four hours have you meet someone? Met someone, you mean? I've met several people. People Scott know from work.

-Song that makes you really think: Too many to list

-Song/Band that you want to listen to right now : My new Arabic Groove CD I bought so I can practice my dancing.

-In the last twenty-four hours have you done something you regret? I didn't clean the house. It needs it.

-Song that no matter what you can’t help sing along with: Oh my goodness, that one car commercial where that pretty car is driving around really fast and the guy singing is making these "brrrm brrrm" sound effects and singin' "take me ridin' in the car, car, take me ridin' in the car, car..." I can't contain myself.

-In the last twenty-four hours have you fought with your parents? No. Which reminds me I should call them.

-Movie that you wish you owned: Serenity

-Can you dance? A little. Better if I've had a few drinks.

-In the last twenty-four hours have you taken a test? No. Filled out some car insurance quote things though.

-Book that you are currently reading: Kushiel's Dart, and Redwall.

-Do you consider yourself a good singer? Geez no.

-In the last twenty-four hours have you skipped a class? Don't have no classes to skip!

-Book/movie that you wish had a sequel: Uh, The Remains of the Day comes to mind. A sequel where they finally freakin' throw down and get it on for crying out loud, instead of all the *angst angst* of wanting with no realease, just a little tease. But of course, that's what made the story so good, among other things...

-In the last twenty-four hours have you broken something? I feel like I broke my legs from exercising.

-Show that you HAVE to watch; no exceptions: Lost is the closest thing to that, though I won't get crazy if I don't catch a new episode right away.

-Do you have a cell phone? If yes do you love it? If no do you want one? Yes and it costs too much and I hardly use it, but I need it for when I visit Clarkston.

-In the last twenty-four hours have you wanted to tell someone off? Most likely.

-Do you have a calendar in your room? I have a page from a calendar in my room. An actual calendar is in the kitchen.

-In the last twenty-four hours have you wanted to scream? In joy, at the lovely dessert I shared with Scott tonite.

-Do you believe in God? In a sorta non-traditional sense. But I feel someone is there.

-Who of your friends can you always count on to say the obvious? Well the Captain Obvious tends to be me, doesn't it? But the friend who will point out the obvious when others can't see it clearly anymore are actually two people, Kelly and Erin. It's a good trait to have.

-Biggest pet peeve: Tailgaters are high on the list.

-Who of your friends is the most mature? They are all lightyears ahead of me, that's for sure.

-What’s by your computer? My couch and some magazines and my sketchbook and my writing book and some empty beer bottles and a teddy bear wearing earmuffs and a candle that smells like christmas. And other stuff cause the table is messy.

-Who of your friends can you count on to make you laugh no matter what? All of them.

-Do you use an alarm clock? The one built into my cell phone. One of the Dr.'s has that same tone as his ringer at the clinic and it really, really annoys me.

-Favorite thing about lj: It's how I keep up with the crew in Clarkston.

-Do you drink?(and if you say “yes mountain dew” I will hunt you down and kidnap your mother so don’t even think about it mark) Yes, and if you don't, Durango will make you one way or another. Did you know there is a bike and beer festival? The Tour de Fat. And Oktoberfest here is great.

-Worst law that you’ve broken: Traffic stuff like speeding and pulling into the far lane.

-What are you wearing right now (be detailed)? Red knit sweater with empire waist and ribbons on the sleeves (from Goodwill), silky red camisole (also Goodwill), long black skirt that has flowy, ragged cut ends (from Eureka), hair ties, claddagh ring. You don't get to know the rest you freaky little pervert.

-What do you sleep in? A bed.

-What scares you the most right now? Too many things

-How do you like your popcorn? (and no that’s not some odd innuendo) A little light on the butter, salted just so. And made from a pan with oil, not from the microwave.

-When someone says they “caught the clock” what do you think? They don't have to buy a new one.

-Finish this sentence: If you lick it, then…. I hope it was edible.

-If your journal public or friends only? Public. It's my little slice of exhibitionism.

-Last person who im’d you; Uh, it's been years.

-Have you ever gotten in a fight with your pet? Of course! They're like little kids from another planet, on crack!

-Three things you want to do in the next 12 months: Go back to school, keep dancing, start voice lessons.

-Two truths and a lie: I want to put something profound here, I can't think of anything, I'll post something later.

-One thing you need: Love. Aww.

-Two things you want: To go back to school, to help with the bills.

-Word that you love: Speesca.

-Phrase that you say way to much: Scott: "So." Me: "Buttons." Also, "Oh my long pajamas!" And, "Oh shiat!"

-Do you like our current president? He's had to put up with a ton of stuff that I can't even begin to think how I would deal with it if I were in his position. But some things he does/says/advocates deeply unsettle me.

-Do you sing in the shower? Yes

-Coke or Pepsi? Mostly Coke.

-Lefty or righty? Lefty for writing and a few other things.

-Shoes or sandals? Bare feet

-Do you plan on having kids? Sure

-What are some of the first things you notice about the opposite
sex? What, are you running out of original questions? See above.

-Would you rather be rich or famous? Famous for doing something good.

-What time is it where you are now? 10:01 PM. That's 9:01 PM for all you Clarkston people.

-Ever used a computer screen as a mirror? Used to, but this laptop doesn't make a good one.

-Thoughts on this survey: I don't think anyone really reads these things.

Don't worry, you'll fill it out one night when you're feeling bored and it will end up taking a lot more time than you thought and you'll be really tired halfway through so you'll just start throwing wierder and wierder answers into it. Or maybe that's just me?

Isn't it though? Although I find I like the "voice" he writes the series with now better than the one he uses in "Redwall" the book. It's not bad, I just like the other better. Probably because I read two of the newer ones first and just recently picked up "Redwall."

Aw, thanks for reading :)
